Electric Fencing Materials

Aluminium lines

• Elecfence uses solid aluminium wire, for their lines, and not old style braided wires.
• The Advantage of using solid aluminium is that it doesn’t rust.
• Aluminium also has a much lower resistance than braided wire or stainless steel wire.
• Lower resistance means that you can maximise the power from your energiser to your fence.

Brackets

• 8 line installations are performed with powder coated line brackets for a longer life span.
• 20 and 24 line fencing is done with painted steel y-pickets.
• Our 36 line fences are installed with custom made galvanised brackets.

Energisers

• For peace of mind, ElecFence uses only Nemtek® energisers.
• We have found these energisers to be of good quality and very reliable.
